Karnak
For Christmas I got a desk calendar of "1000 Places to See Before You Die," and the other day the Karnak Temple was shown... can you imagine standing in a complex this huge? Some of the columns have diameters of over three meters, and can be 21 meters tall. Whaaaat? Someday...
